About Me
Hello, I’m Romana Norman, a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with many years experience in mental health support.
I work with adults and young people (over 11 years old), and offer support in a wide range of issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, suicidal ideation and self-harm, relationship difficulties, addiction, self-esteem and self-image.
My approach is rooted in the principles of person-centred therapy, where you are viewed as the expert in your own life. With my support, we can enable you to find your own solutions and help you to manage life's challenges.
I offer 50-minute face-to-face sessions in my private counselling room in Shiplake, just outside Henley-on-Thames, or online sessions if preferred. Our work together can be short or long-term, although I believe that the counselling journey should be a flexible one, as things change along the way, so we will continue to review our work together at regular intervals.
