Working Together

Building a positive and trusting relationship, where you feel valued and understood, is the most important part of our work together. I recognise that each person's experience is unique and that there is no universal approach to counselling, so we will work together to ensure that our sessions meet your specific needs and goals.

If you decide to work with me, you will notice that you are at the centre of your counselling sessions. This means you are the focus, and always will be. You choose what we discuss, what changes you want to make, the pace we work at, and how you would like your future to look.

I am not here to advise or direct you, but to walk alongside you, providing support and guidance as you navigate your path to personal growth and emotional well-being.

Working with Young People

As a parent, it can be distressing to watch your child struggle with their mental health, feeling powerless to know what to do for the best as they try to navigate the challenges of adolescence.

This stage of their development requires your child to seek independence from the family and form their own identity, but this can often feel confusing and isolating for both them and those around them.

Through counselling, I can help support your young person through this period of challenge and change, tackling issues together such as anxiety, depression, confidence, self-esteem, relationships and school or exam stress.

I work with young people in schools and private practice, and I am passionate about supporting them to feel like themselves again.
